What vaccinations does my cat need?

Always best to discuss with your vet, but as an outline the minimum requirement will be:

FVRCP: The must-have core vaccine. It covers cat flu (herpes + calici) and feline infectious enteritis (panleukopenia).

FeLV (feline leukemia): Usually a non-core vaccine for strictly indoor cats with no contact with other cats, but highly advisable in a cattery setting as a precaution.

Boosters must have been administered at least 14 days prior to arrival.

What flea & worm treatments are required?
All cats must be up-to-date with veterinary-approved flea and worm treatments prior to entry. Over-the-counter treatments are not always fully effective, so please consult your vet.

Can I view the cattery before booking?
Yes, you are warmly invited to inspect our chalets and facilities. Viewings are welcome by prior appointment during our standard morning hours.

What food do you provide?
We stock leading brands of wet and dry food and strive to follow your cat's usual home diet. If your cat requires a veterinary prescription or special dietary food, we ask that you supply it.

Can you administer medication?
Yes, we can administer routine oral medication or treatments mixed into food. Please bring medications in their original labelled containers with clear dosage instructions.

Can cats from the same home share a pen?
Yes, our pens comfortably accommodate family groups of up to three cats from the same household together.

How long can cats stay?
We can accomodate from three days to stays lasting a number of months. For long term stays we offer a discount after 30 days.
