Terms and Conditions
All cats must be fully vaccinated and accompanied with a valid up-to-date vaccination certificate, which we need to sight. Boosters must have been administered no less than 14 days prior to arrival.
Cats must be flea and wormed treated before entry. Not all flea treatments are effective, please ask your vet for advice. If fleas are suspected or detected we will treat them. The cost of any flea or worm treatment necessary during a cat's stay (including flea treatment for the pen and surrounding areas) will be charged to the customer.
We cannot accept male cats over 7 months old that have not been neutered, pregnant or nursing queens.
No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from, any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health. Owners will appreciate that this is essential in order to safeguard the health of all cats boarded. If a cat if found to have a contagious disease a £35.00 deep cleaning charge will be made.
Cats must be brought to the cattery in a secure carrier which will be stored on the premises.
Charges are per day. All fees are to be settled on collection, for new customers we request payment before or at begining of the stay. Payment is by cash, cheque, debit or credit cards.
A £20.00 non-refundable deposit is required per cat to secure the boarding dates.
A cancellation fee of the deposit amount will be charged if less than 14 days notice is given.
If pets aren't collected within 14 days of the date on which s/he is due to leave the cattery, and no communication is received from the owner, a decision to rehome the pet will be made at the cattery owners' discretion.
We are happy to accommodate cats on medication. We can administer medication either orally or in food. Medication should be in original containers within a labelled clear plastic bag along with instructions on usage. The more we are aware of the cats health the better should we need to contact a vet.
Cats are boarded on the basis that although every care and attention will be given, we accept no responsibility for any loss of injury.
Should your cat need to see a vet during the stay, from our experience we will determine if the cat needs urgent attention. In which case we will contact your vet, or if unavailable our vets (The Vale Veterinary Centre, Tiverton). We will also attempt to inform you or your emergency contacts.
All vets fees are the responsibilty of the customer and payable on departure.
If we have to take your cat to the vets a charge of £7.00 is payable per journey to cover travel expenses.
We try to feed your cats with the same food they have at home and will discuss this at time of booking. We maintain a stock of popular brands.
We generally supply the food unless there is a special diet, inn which case you will be asked to bring the food. All cats are fed twice a day. Kittens, older cats and specific diets can be fed according to their special needs. Clean fresh water is available at all times.
